I have always been intrigued by the family system and believe many of the patterns of behavior and styles of interaction stem from those foundational relationships. I currently work with a full range of ages from children to adults, focusing on helping clients explore their core beliefs that stem from childhood experiences and how those core beliefs impact thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Both individual and relational functioning can be enhanced through greater understanding of perceptions and attending to unmet needs.

The belief that everyone has worth and is intrinsically valuable guides my therapeutic relationship-building process. I provide an environment of curiosity and empowerment that enables clients to find the answers within. Healing from unhelpful beliefs helps not only individual clients but also their relationships outside of the therapy room. I welcome clients from diverse backgrounds and appreciate the cultural and systemic influences that impact our daily lives.

I received my bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Regent University and my master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Mercer University. I developed my skills through my practicum at a play therapy counseling center, couple’s therapy center, the university’s counseling center, and at Integrated Therapeutic Solutions. My experience with play therapy taught me that we have the ability to heal ourselves if we are given the proper space and ability to work through our inner struggles.

I am under the direction and supervision of
