I Work With Individuals, Couples, & Families
Hello! I’m Steph
Licensed Masters of Social Work
In 2018, I received a Bachelor’s in Social Work from Southern Illinois University – Carbondale in Illinois. From there, I received an Advanced Standing Master’s in Social Work with an emphasis in Health and Mental Health in 2019 from SIUC. That same year I graduated from the Trauma Based Behavioral Health Fellowship through Southern Illinois University’s School of Medicine. Through the fellowship I worked with an interdisciplinary team integrating both primary and behavioral health care using current research on trauma informed practices and graduating with over 120 hours of training. Upon completion, I worked at a federally qualified health facility primarily working with individuals who had experienced various levels of trauma with the aim to improve the mental health of patients. I have been trained in an array of different therapeutic modalities.
Intrinsic worth is at the core of our beings and from this everything flows from us. Trauma can negatively impact this sense of worth, value, and belonging. I believe everyone is worthy of being heard and experiencing healing from past traumas. Finding and taking ahold of your worth and true potential in life is where joy resides. I engage my clients with empathy and meet them where they are at in their journey. I look forward to helping you grow these in your life and see you become your truest self.
I am under the direction and supervision of Anna Moriarty, MPS, LPC, LMHC, CPCS.
