I Work With Individuals, Couples, & Families
Hello! I’m Brittany
MASTER’S LEVEL INTERN
Seeking help takes a tremendous amount of courage and inner strength. When we take the time to understand the relationships, experiences, and beliefs that have made us who we are today, we have the potential for experiencing real, long-term, transformational change. But it isn’t an easy process. Being human is hard work, yet I am convinced that our sufferings, imperfections, and failures are what makes each of us beautiful, authentic, and unique. Growth and healing are possible when we feel safe, seen, and heard by someone who can offer us compassion, empathy, and acceptance.
If you are ready to embark on this journey, I would be honored to walk alongside you. I believe in the inherent worth of all individuals and will treat each person with the same level of care, understanding, and concern as I would want from others. I believe that transformational change occurs when we have compassion for ourselves, understand our limitations and celebrate our strengths. Because I value having authentic connections with each client, I will ensure that you feel important, heard, and valued. My therapy style is warm, collaborative, and non-judgmental. Together we will identify and challenge the unconscious beliefs about yourself, others, and the world that impact your ability to lead a healthy and fulfilling life. I specialize in helping clients develop the emotional awareness necessary to cultivate a stronger sense of self while living a life of greater intention, authenticity, compassion, and self-efficacy.
I am currently pursuing a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Liberty University and will graduate in January 2023. I am under the direction and supervision of Anna Moriarty, MPS, LPC, LMHC, CPCS.
